  1. Jo;
Sitting here awaiting the snow after taking Renee to the airport and a canceled trip to NYC to see Trianda because of it, I decided to read more than the snippets of your writings on Facebook. [how is that for a run on sentence?]
What a great time I have had visiting with you via your writing. I miss running with you [well at least starting at the same time]and having breakfast coffee and conversation afterwards. As you well know I share your love for coffee and running. I have not been hitting the roads much since my operation in August, the onset of winter weather and just plain laziness. I wish you, Doug and the girls a Very Happy Christmas and look forward to our seeing each other soon, either here or there.
    All the Best.

loved this! and finally remembered to subscribe after I read it. so glad you are a stickler with vocabulary. one of my personal pet peeves is “nuc-e-lar”…argh. also loved by our former President. i corrected my 8th grade science teacher when she was explaining nuclear fission and fusion. after the tenth “nuc-e-lar” I couldn’t take it anymore, rose my hand and set the record straight. yes, i was an annoyingly precocious child.

    big hugs!

  5. We’ve met a few times, I play Mah Johngg with Jeanine every Wednesday night. I have a confession, I have 8 C batteries in my junk drawer. I’m a little “over organized”, but I use it for good and not evil. I probably had a coupon and they were practically giving them away. I get to hear J talk about you and your sister all the time, but it’s fun reading your blog.

    Your new fan,

    Kelly

  6. So glad to subscribe. I knew all about your many talents as a performer, but did not know you were also a terrific writer. You’re my new morning therapy.

  7. Enjoying everything you’re writing. It’s almost as good as sitting down for breakfast at the 17th Street Cafe….oh, the good old days.
Hope all is well with you, the kids and Doug

    Hi, again,
I’m not receiving any of your posts despite the fact that I THINK I signed up correctly to receive them. There never was a spot to select which posts to receive. IF YOU CAN DO THIS FOR ME< I'd love to receive them all.
You're a great writer and right up my alley in many respects.
    Thanks for all.
    Kind regards,
    Catherine

  12. Catherine, thanks for the note. One other person has had this problem. There must be a glitchy bug somewhere. I’ll input your email myself from the Admin page and see if that works. Let me know. And thanks for reading.

    Jo

  13. Well said, Jo.
